Stephanie Murray joined BHP Insurances in 2014 as part of our Community, Voluntary and Not-For-Profit team.
I have worked in the insurance industry for over a decade and I really enjoy my career in this field. I have 6 years experience specialising in the insurance needs of the not-for-profit sector. Having come from a large multi-national broker I joined BHP Insurances in 2014 as one of Ireland’s leading insurance providers to this sector to become part of their Charity Division. I have a professional qualification from the Insurance Institute of Ireland and I am currently studying towards achieving the ACII Chartered Insurer qualification.
Role and Responsibilities
My role within BHP Insurances is a Client Services Executive where I am responsible for the day to day management of our customers’ insurance needs.
My knowledge and experience of the structures and operational procedures within the not for profit sector enables me to provide the best insurance advice, provision of required indemnity documents and ensure sufficient cover by establishing insurance products which are specifically arranged to meet the needs of each organisations to ensure they are fully protected at all times.
Hobbies and Interests
I love going to the gym. I’m a Figure Competitor and I train 4 days per week off season and 7 days per week leading up to contests. I placed 2nd in my first national competition in 2014. I have a Diploma in Diet and Nutrition as this in another area within the fitness arena that I am very interested in, and I spend a lot of my spare time researching. I have also volunteered at Youth Clubs providing Nutritional Advice Workshops for Young People.
